Elias Livadaras is a Greek musician and composer known for his mastery of the lyra, a traditional string instrument from Crete. His music blends ancient folk melodies with modern influences, capturing the rugged beauty of island life. I first heard him in a small taverna in Chania, where his playing made everyone pause mid-conversation.
